One of the more interesting things Blizzard has done with this expansion is to provide us with an outlet for further advancement when raid instances have been cleared and are placed on farm status. The achievements we have been working on have been some of the more difficult and rewarding challenges that we have encountered thus far.
We have finally earned the Heroic: Glory of the Raider achievement. Many thanks go out to all the members of the guild for their hard work and dedication. This allowed us to earn a top 10 ranking in the world for this achievement. With the majority of all content cleared, we look forward to the release of Ulduar and the challenges it has in store.
The other day we found some people who had just obtained their Red Proto-Drakes flaunting them in front of the Northern Dalaran Bank. We decided to continue the tradition and display our drakes for the gathered crowd to see.
Having successfully completed the Immortal achievement in Heroic: Naxxramas, Severance has taken its place at the top of oceanic progression. The night was very productive, not only did we earn the Immortal, we also completed the Patchwerk achievement as well as earned another Twilight Drake from the Obsidian Sanctum.
We are still looking for a few more dedicated raiders to round out our ranks. If you would like to learn more about this, please feel free to visit our recruitment forum and check the availability listing there.

The guilds true colors seem to come out if we are forced to wait for disconnecting priests...

Through excellent participation, cooperation and patience, Severance members have earned their Realm First titles for defeating the Lord of Magic the Blue Aspect Malygos!

Malygos was one of the more interesting and fun encounters Blizzard has tossed at us. Hopefully they continue the trend with the upcoming Ulduar. Grats to everyone on successfully downing this encounter in such short time.

We are still recruiting healers and select classes. If you would like more information please check out our recruitment center or whisper/mail Tyrador in game.
First two raids of the first week of Heroic Raiding saw the completion of 2 out of the 3 current raid instances. While this was to be expected given the nature of the content, many thanks go out to our members for preparing themselves to down the content quickly.

We are still recruiting players for most all classes. If you would like to learn more about this, please visit us at the recruitment center. Healers are always welcome!
As we prepare to launch ourselves into heroic raids, we are looking to add more players to our ranks. Currently <Severance> is looking for more healing classes that are reliable!
If you would like to learn more, please visit our recruitment center on the forums. During this next raid lockout period we will only be accepting applications 78+. After November 25th you must be 80 to apply to the guild.

While we wait for our friends to finish leveling, the level 80's we had hopped into some 10 man raiding to obtain what gear we could before the lockout. Here is our kill shot of Sartharion the Onyx Guardian in the Chamber of the Aspects.

Blizzard seems to have an issue with balance. They make Sunwell annoying, but then state that they don't like how RNG the instance can be so they make it far easier. This allowed us to take people who just hit 70 in blues and greens into a Kil'jaeden kill!
Severance is still looking for people to join us in our push for progression in Wrath of the Lich King. If you are interested, please check out our recruitment center on the forums.
<Severance> was created by the leaders of some of the most successful guilds on the server in order to continue progression into Wrath of the Lich King. From past experiences we are able to draw upon the success we have enjoyed as well as learn from the mistakes we have endured. Through this we hope to create the most successful guild this server has ever seen.
It is our goal to provide a fun yet challenging environment for the players to compete with others on the server for the coveted Server First Achievements. Rather than throwing ourselves at content for unhealthy amounts of time, we will achieve success through proper planning, organization and efficiency during raids.
While we truly believe that playing a game should ultimately be fun, we can only achieve this by placing high expectations on our members. As such, players in this guild are those who are dedicated to the ultimate success of the guild. They act in a professional manner and are well versed in all aspects of the game.
